Think Again

An amusing reflection of 1970's tobacco advertising, care of the Stanford School of Medicine.

Angry Man, 1975. Okay, you smoke. I had no plans to ask why you choose to do so. Oh yeah, while we are on the subject, I don't want to know why you smoke Winston Longs either.

1972, feminist ideal?!  "You've come a long way baby."

The lady looks so proud that these cigarettes were designed for her slimline design!

The Vintage Collective Markets.

The Vintage Collective Markets

The weather was overcast, rain cascaded from the heavens and the wind blew. Overlooking the fact, that spending time at an outdoor vintage market may not be a good idea. My friend and I braved nature's beauty and were very that pleased we did.

Situated within the grounds of the Oakover Winery in Middle Swan, The Vintage Collective Markets had entertainment, food and vintage treasures.

A few treasures were purchased by the lovely Tony from Vintage Chloe and myself.

I scored this fabulous vintage concave star shaped mirror for $30 from a lovely lady at the fair.

I do love abstract patterned bark cloth fabric, and needed new cushion covers. So two boxes were ticked with these three vintage cushion covers. This period of vintage barkcloth textile design is getting harder to find within the local second hand stores.

I do recommend that you check out The Vintage Collective Market's page for their scheduled upcoming events. That is if you live in Perth, Western Australia I guess!

2015 Design

We,at Vintage Space headquarters, are very pleased with our 2015, flyer and swing tag design.

Designed by myself, Bernadette. Printed by Clone Army Print.

Specifically designed for our new shop space at MANY 6160. The swing tags are made from reclaimed card that was ready for the dumpster.

The girl archer image was taken from an American 1940's calendar, 'Miss December'. I thought it apt to use her as I, myself am a Sagittarian. My legs are not as long and as sexy as Miss December's though!
