Ray Eames designed a variety of whimsical toys and furniture pieces
specifically for children, including this 1953 piece for Tigrett
Enterprises Playhouse Division.
The quality of this design replica is very good. Made from a welded steel wire frame with a powder-coat finish. The hooks are solid maple wood, lacquer painted in nine bright colours.
I was extra happy with the dimensions of the piece as it is so practical and will fit my two girl's school bags, umbrellas and wet weather jackets for winter.
How sweet is this original 1950s photo of the Hang It All Rack?
One piece of advice - shop around for a reasonable price as they
do vary greatly in price. I paid $62 including postage for mine. I am one happy customer.
